Why this matters for AI trainers
Platforms like Claru, Mimix and Hub Data pay per approved hour of video. Shaky, dark or low-resolution video is the main cause of rejection. Combining a cell phone with a stable camera and a head strap greatly increases the approval rate — and, consequently, the amount received in dollars at the end of the month.
FAQ
Is it worth renting a cell phone to record videos for AI?
Yes, when you don't yet have a device with a good camera. AI training platforms demand stable, sharp video; Subscribing to a recent iPhone for a fixed monthly fee usually costs less than purchasing outright and does not compromise the card's limit.
Is the cell phone rental company trustworthy?
The platform we recommend is allu (Allugator Serviços Digitais Ltda., CNPJ 25.053.921/0001-43), a company active since 06/22/2016, headquartered in Belo Horizonte/MG. At Reclame Aqui it has the RA Verified seal, excellent reputation and resolves 85% of registered complaints.
Do I need a credit card with a high limit?
No. The subscription is monthly and the platform itself informs that you receive the device without compromising the card limit, with payment options at the end of the order.
Does the device have a guarantee against breakage?
The subscription includes allu.care, which covers up to 75% of the repair cost in case of accidental damage, according to the contract rules.
How long does it take to receive?
After sending the documents and security analysis, delivery takes place at home. The platform advertises free shipping after 5 business days.
Can I return the device later?
Yes. You choose a loyalty plan: the longer you keep the device, the lower the monthly fee. In the end, the device is returned, repaired and its data is erased before anyone else uses it.
